2008 Oregon State Fair!September 1stHome Arts & Hobbies Competition Please NOTE: The Decorative Painting "lots" have changed
this year. . . . Our Raindrop Chapter will have (2) two locations this year in the JACKMAN LONG BUILDING.AT AREA ONE:We will distribute information about our chapter, teachers and the painting shops in our area. We will display painted items by our Raindrop members at this location. There will be painting demonstrations all day long!
AT AREA TWO:We will include the
The Memory Box Artist Program
. It is a volunteer effort on the part of Artists to share their creativity by painting and donating memory boxes to families who have suffered a stillborn or infant death. Memory boxes are a beautiful way for families to save precious mementoes of a too short life. These had painted boxes let families know that others care about their loss. Our Chapter donates to LEGACY EMANUEL HOSPITAL.
