The Memory Box Program

To donate your time and yourself, contact Darlene Andreas, Helga Nichols, Kim Snively through your membership directory.

The Memory Box Artist Program, Inc. began in June of 1998 as an all volunteer effort to provide boxes for families of infants that pass away in the hospital so that the families did not leave the hospital empty handed without any representation of that child's life.

To date, the program has provided more than 60,000 boxes for infant bereavement programs free of charge.

The purpose of the program is to affirm that life for the family. Each box is created with great love and a sincere wish to reach out in support and understanding. As artists, we hope the boxes bring each family comfort and the knowledge that many people understand. We know each infant is special and very, very loved, regardless of how long the child lived.

As of July, 2003, The Memory Box Artist Program, Inc. is a Registered California Non Profit Corporation with IRS Status 501 (c) (3) Non Profit Charitable Organization EIN # 33-1029326. The program is still "all volunteer", and all funds donated go towards administration of the program, and production of boxes for program hospitals.
