On behalf of Judi McCourry, Cindy Ferguson and myself, Lori Larkey, I would like to thank you all for the hard work and dedication involved in making this past weeks mini convention such a success.

We are members of The Coast to the Cascades chapter and realize how much work goes into a large seminar so cannot imagine the work involved in hosting a convention.

When asked by others "was it a good convention?" we replied that it was 'great' and then we had to stop and think why it was so great for us. Turns out it was a combination of highlights. We saw teachers and friends from other chapters and classes. Everyone was so friendly-visitors and vendors. It was small enough to visit each booth and actually look at its contents. Not so large as to be mind numbing and feet tiring. Each of us had a shopping list and all were able to find each thing we were looking for. Fun, friendships, happy attendees, new items to paint and packets and books to inspire and challenge our painting skills as well as fabulous weather made for a memorable event and we want to thank you again for all your hard work.

I must add that due to multiple complications, we were not able to attend any of the classes this year but are convinced we would have had just as good a time!

Your hard work and attention to detail are appreciated.
