We are having a fabulous paint in after the meeting with Hanna Long.  

You can paint an apple, pear, or cherries on your bag and have an adorable ornament of the fruit hanging on it.  This is a fabric painting, tin painting, and stamping technique class just for you.

The price of the class, instructions, picture, and the metal ornament will be $5.00.  So please plan on making it to this Raindrop event. 

Register by March 27th so Hanna has time to prep the ornament.  Pattern will be received at class.

Message from Hanna Long:

These are the colors I will be using, but feel free to change color if you like.

Have your bags tea dyed, dried and ironed before class.  The bag I used was 13 1/2" x 13 1/2".

Bring basic paint supplies including dark graphite, stylus and IDenti-Pen - extra fine point.

Surface: 

Canvas Bag - The bag can be purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics or a Michaels Store.  Remember to use your 40% off coupon and the bag should be about $4.00. 

 

Matching tin fruit - order when you sign up for the class.

Prep:

The only prep work is to tea dye the bag before class.  Hanna will be prep the ornament.

VICE-PRESIDENT'S RAFFLE

The purpose of the raffle is to raise money to help send our Vice-President to SDP's National Convention.

This beautiful plate was purchased from Trudy Beard.

An unique watch donated by Linda Aten will also be raffled off.
